Suppers :)

This evening I took a walk, and I was thinking about the beauty of nature that God has given to us.  The dew sparkling on the grass; the crystal clear, rushing creek; the bright yellow - green  of trees budding; the beauty of wildflowers!  What a wondrous God to have to give us this beauty - and then to think how beautiful this world is, how beautiful heaven must be!

On to another subject - On Friday night, Tara and I made supper and bedsnack.  For supper, we had Fish Supreme, Mashed Potatoes & White Sauce Gravy, and beans or corn.

Then, for bedsnack we had Cream Puffs - Chocolate or Rasberry. {Or both :) }
Tonight, we made supper, too.  We had French Bread Sandwiches, Fruit Kabobs, Chips, & Kool-aid.  We had to have the veggies & mayo for the sandwiches seperate because most of our family doesn't like them on their sandwich.

(In this picture, the chips aren't shown.)

My sandwich all made up - Mayo, Ham, Turkey, Lettuce, Tomatoes - Yummy!

Then for bedsnack we had Chocolate Cake Roll with strawberries on top.  The middle is Cool Whip.  You could also put ice cream in it, but the recipe called for Cool Whip, so I wanted to try it!  I think this is a really good cake recipe!

Tara and I decided to start making a meal once a week, these are the 2nd & 3rd meals.  (The first meal I didn't take pictures of.  We had scalloped potatoes with ham, salad, rolls and Peanut Butter Muffins for dessert.)

If anybody wants recipes for any of these things, let me know and I'll post them:)

Two more half days of school left.  Friday is the last day in middle school for me - I'm off to high school next year!  Tomorrow we're doing Recognition practice, and Friday's 8th Grade Recogniton.  Wanna come?  See you all soon!  Hope you all have an awesome day!

Love, Aimee

  1. Yummo! We used to call it "bedsnack" too:) Did your Dad get you started calling it that or did your Mom have that at her home too?
