Orange challenge #4

So I really did get it made on time but I totally forgot about it until I just now saw that it had been uploaded.
I made an orange julius.  These things are very addicting and they taste so good.

This is the orange I used in the recipe.

Free Holiday Cards from Shutterfly!

Ok - so here we go!  This is awesome.  Shutterfly has the coolest Christmas cards.

There are many, many awesome Christmas cards you can get, but these are a few that I think are pretty cute:)

The Sweet Scalloped Frame Christmas Card. I really like the scallop around the edges and how the writing overlays the picture. I think this would be a really good photo card using the black and white photo like it shows it.

Man, I think this one is darling! It's the Full of Love Christmas Card.  I think this is sooo darling. Yeah, I already did say that, but I really do think it is:) I like how the picture covers the whole card, and the writing overlays the photo.  It looks really neat!

You can find the above cards here.

Another card I think is pretty cute is this one:

It's an opening card - one you can write on in the inside. I think I really like how the writing and pictures are placed . . . and the font of the writing. So cute!
And then in the inside of the card, you can put photos and personalized writing.

This card and other holiday story cards can be found here.

And then there's the religious holiday cards.

One I really like is the Oh Holy Night Religious Christmas Card.

I don't know if I'd actually use the black card, but it is a really cute design, how it all looks together.

Another one I like is the Christ Is King Religious Christmas Card.

I like the angel design and the bright red of the card.

You can find more Religious Holiday Cards here.

“Shutterfly is offering 20% off all holiday cards”

You can find there cards and stationary here.

Okay ~ now for the free cards. I found this deal on Tatertots and Jello, which is an awesome crafty blog, where you can find all kinds of awesome ideas and you can enter tons of giveaways, although I haven't suceeded at winning yet:) I found this post, where I found out that if you click on the link there that says "Click here to go to Shutterfly." So I clicked there and found out that if you blog about Shutterfly, I guess, then you got a coupon code sent to you for 50 free cards. Shipping & Handling applies, but it's worth it when you even it out because your cards are free. So, if you want to get free cards, which is an awesome deal, go to the Tatertots and Jello post and do what it says. It is an awesome deal and that's why we're doing it!

Alexa, Tara, Christopher, and Clint

Alexa and Camille were being babysat for a couple days and today we got a couple of pictures:)

Alexa and I
 Alexa and I

Ok, so I do understand that we are a bit weird!!  Alexa turned her face red (and not because of the cold!)

Christopher, Alexa, Tara, and Clint.  The people who were mainly together. Talking in the playhouse, games in the boys room, studying in the fur shed, and bringing in wood together; also staying up late and talking and reading (Alexa and I not the boys).

All of us hugging together

Copying each other:)

Christopher pretending to be angry and the rest of us doing choo choo train!

Holding Alexa up.  She seemed to be pretty amused!

And, of course we had to get a weird one.  All of us being kinda strange.  Look at Alexa's expression . . .

Well, thanks so much for visiting us Alexa.  I had a very wonderful time.  I hope you can come again soon.

Love and God's Peace,
Tara

Hunter - our little charmer

It was a beautiful day on Wednesday, and I saw this cute little old wagon/trailer out the front door as I was leaving.  I thought to tell Aimee to take pictures of Hunter, but forgot about it.  That night when I got home, she showed me pictures she'd taken . . . she must have ESP or something:)

He is just such a little charmer and smiles so adorably.  Here are a few of the pictures she took.

I wish they were all so easy to photograph!!  Yesterday I bribed the bigger boys with a pack of gum for a "real smile".  It worked and I got all of theirs done!!!!

Our Baby Is 1!!!

Yesterday Walker turned one!  He didn't act like he thought anything was special about the day.  It was the other kids who wanted to know . . . when can we give presents?? . . . when are we having cake??

We asked Pappa and Grandma over for supper, but they already had plans, so we stopped by their house after afternoon church for awhile.

I hadn't thought to ask Grandpa and Grandma over, but as we were getting ready for church, David told me to give them a call.  They were going to visit Uncle Edwin in the hospital and would let us know later if they'd come.  They called after 6:00 and said they were on their way.  That was fine because we'd gotten home late and didn't have supper ready anyway.  They got here at 7:00, just as I was pulling the first BBQ Chicken Sandwiches out of the oven.  We aren't used to eating that late, and everyone ate more than ever.  The sandwiches were wonderful, with fresh-from-Safeway's-oven French bread!!

Walker opening a present.

Enjoying his new toothbrush.

Walker with his rubber ducky cake.

Grandpa and Grandma Rhoades (not sure why the one of them turned out blurry).  Thanks for coming.  We enjoyed our couple hours together!

Ready for bed in his new PJ's, playing with his toys and balloon.
