Jaffrey Festival of Fireworks 2010

The 21st annual Jafffrey Festival of Fireworks was August 21st.  (More pictures here: http://www.monadnockregion.net/jaffreyfireworks2010.htm).  I went to it with Walter & Sue Seppala.  It was also my first time meeting their family.  After they picked me up, we went & picked up pizza from Pizza Haven.  Then we went to a field nearby where you could park & get out and watch them.  While waiting for it to get dark, Sue, Anikka, Ariel, Jasmine, & I went to Kimballs & got icecream.  After lots of waiting, the fireworks finally started at about 9:15.  They lasted for about half an hour.  It was really cool.   I'm glad I got to go.

If you ever get the chance to be in NH the 3rd Saturday in August, I highly reccomend going to watch them.

Brown Challenge #1 ~ Late

So I made my collage on Tuesday last week and then was going to wait to see if someone else was gonna make one and then I totally forgot about it so now it's late.  Here it is.

Here is my adorable little baby, Kenzey Marie Traffie :)

And here is her cute big sister Shandi :)

I had lots of fun holding Kenzey & playing with my little cousins.  Especially since I hadn't saw any of them for 2 years besides Aidan who I met earlier this year.  Thursday morning when I came down none of the kids said a word to me except for Laylah who said "hi Rachel."  It wasn't too long before they were all talking away, though.

Day 1

August 18th, 2010
Grandma & I flew to New Hampshire to help Auntie Leona.  Our plane left Portland, OR at 9:15 am.  When we left Portland, you could see 4 different mountains.  It was pretty cool.

I think seeing the clouds from above is really awesome.  It looks so different.

This is our plane after we got off in Kansas City.  We changed planes there and then had a stop in Nashville, too.  We flew Southwest.

The sunset looked really cool up through the clouds & above them.

We finally flew into Providence, RI at about 10:30 pm or so.  Mike & Kathy Traffie picked us up & we got to Tim & Leona's at exactly 1:00 am.  Tim got home 5 minutes later & then Leona came out & showed us baby Kenzey.  She was just adorable & has a perfect complexion.  We stayed up for a few minutes & then we all went to bed.

Meet "Ms. Harley Bronwyn" and a look at the flower bed

Bronwyn likes to pretend to be on a Harley by sitting on the second thing down on her trike - not on the seat.  Since we got helmets she has started wearing that, too.  So  here's a few pictures so you can see what it's like:)

Too cute.
And . . . I figured I would show a picture of the flower bed when the flowers were just put in, and right now.
Right now #1

After we had just put them in.
